Departing from downtown Napa, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you board a faithfully restored Pullman car. Savor a welcome glass of sparkling wine and explore this picturesque locomotive before taking your seats and enjoying a gourmet lunch.
Soak in the splendor of Napa’s rolling vineyards while indulging in a fresh, three-course lunch inspired by wine country. From succulent, pan-seared chicken to melt-in-your-mouth beef short ribs, there’s something for every taste and palate.
This elegant experience also includes train fare, gratuities, all taxes and fees, and flexible booking with the freedom to choose from weekdays throughout the year (based on availability and itinerary).

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

- Guests must be at least 21 years of age with a valid photo ID to drink and/or purchase alcohol
- Wine, beer, cocktails, and soft drinks are available for purchase on board
- Check-in begins 1 hour prior to departure
- Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated with prior notice
- Please be aware that seating is pre-assigned prior to arrival and if you would like to be seated with another group, advance notice is required
- Due to the historic nature of the some of the facilities, certain activities may be unsuitable for people requiring wheelchairs or scooters

Will we stop at wineries along the way?
No, this Napa Valley Lunch train is a 3-hour journey from Downtown Napa to St. Helena and back. Along the way, you will enjoy Napa's spectacular wine country scenery as you travel through the towns of Oak Knoll, Yountville, Oakville, and Rutherford.
Will we have our own table for lunch?
The Napa Valley Lunch Train embraces traditional rail seating. This means you may share your table with another party.
Does this experience include wine?
No, but alcoholic beverages may be purchased on board throughout your journey. There is an extensive, onboard wine list with approximately 40 wines to choose from.
Can we bring our own wine?
Yes! You may bring your own bottle of wine aboard. There is a $20 per bottle (750ml) corkage fee. However, if you purchase a bottle on board and bring your own, the corkage fee will be waived for your personal bottle.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 14 days prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. Reserved seats will be released for resale 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure, so late arrivals are not guaranteed their seats.
